Smith & Wesson Third Model .38 caliber Single Action Revolver, 1893. Handgun has a four inch barrel, a blued finish, a case hardened hammer, and case hardened trigger guard. Gun was engraved and gold inlaid by Gustave Young for exhibition at the Columbian Exposition in 1893.
This .38 Single Action was the newest addition to the product line at the time of its display at the Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893.
