| Description | Lunch Box, Happy Days, 1976 This iconic lunch box was based on the popular 1970s - 1980s TV program "Happy Days." Featured on the box cover are main characters Ritchie Cunningham, Warren "Potsie" Weber, and Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli. "The Fonz" is wearing his trademark leather coat while perched on his motorcycle. ABC (American Broadcasting Company) introduced the television series on January 15, 1974 and it ran until September 24, 1984. It followed the antics of the Cunningham family and a group of high school (and later college) students in Milwaukee, WI in an idealized post-World War II setting. The show was number 1 in the Nielson ratings by its third season. This lunchbox donated by Esta Manthos was no doubt collected by Esta and her husband Charlie due to its motorcycle graphic and their love of motorcyle themed toys and collectibles. |
