This collection consists of business records and assorted material related to the Rubin Brothers, Inc., a wholesale dry goods business owned by the Rubin family. The business was located at 1807 Main Street until about 1950 when it moved to Ferry Street, Springfield. Several of the brothers also had side businesses in construction and real estate. This collection comprises: SERIES 01 -- Biographies SERIES 02 -- Business Records SERIES 03 -- Correspondence SERIES 04 -- Property Records SERIES 05 -- James Realty SERIES 06 -- Benjamin Realty On 9 May 2019, Elliot Gertel brought to the museum several additional files he found that he donated as an addition to this collection. New files were integrated into the collection. |
